Η Ελληνική Σημαία coloring page
This Greek Flag drawing was created especially for the Time for Greek School blog by a very talented young lady, Anthe Mitrakos. Last March, Anthe and her sister Vasiliki established the Ariston Foundation. The Ariston Foundation's mission is to award, through merit-based scholarships, individuals of Greek descent exemplifying academic excellence; to organize special events; and to fund activities and projects celebrating the Hellenic language and culture. The Mitrakos sisters also publish the new Portes Magazine that celebrates the
"Best of Everything Greek".

Greek Sign Language alphabet cards
Last year, the Kindergarten class really enjoyed learning how to sign the Greek alphabet. We had fun using our new sills in signing to spell our names and simple words in Greek. This year, I decided to make flashcards with the letters to use during circle time and to play games.

Pascha basket goodies
I have always had a hard time finding things to put in my kid's Pascha baskets. I am not a big fan of bunnies and chocolate so I try to find unique items that celebrate their Orthodox faith and Greek heritage.
