This Greek Flag drawing was created especially for the Time for Greek School blog by a very talented young lady, Anthe Mitrakos. Last March, Anthe and her sister Vasiliki established the Ariston Foundation.  The Ariston Foundation's mission is to award, through merit-based scholarships, individuals of Greek descent exemplifying academic excellence;  to organize special events; and to fund activities and projects celebrating the Hellenic language and culture.  The Mitrakos sisters also publish the new Portes Magazine that celebrates the

 "Best of Everything Greek".

OXI Day pictures from around our school

Images from World War II posters and photographs from the internet printed out and laminated to decorate the bulletin board on the way into school.

Project completed by Kindergarten and Pre-School students of the Afternoon school.
