Alphabet Matching

Prasini Priza is a great website from Cyprus with many resources, games and lesson ideas. Click on the links below to print out the Greek alphabet (upper and lower cases), cut out and have fun playing a Greek alphabet matching game.

  1. I was just telling Father that I need to make Greek and English flash cards for Niko to start practicing. When I saw this post I got very excited. Thanks!

  2. Greetings Presbytera~ thank you for your blog and the ideas you share with us! In our family, I'm always looking for more ways to use Greek.

So far, we're using the Greek Prayer Book from Potamitis publishing, and our own Greek flashcards, simple books, and chalk board for learning.

    Songs too...we like singing!

Do you know of other free resources online?

  3. There are so many things online! Just for starters all the books created the University of Crete in Rhethimnon to teach Greek as a second language are on line ( I will provide a link in the next few days). The Greek Orhtodox Direct Archdiocesan District has their Kindergarten curriculum on the GOA website, I can go on and on. The goal of this blog is to get this information out there.

Personally, my kids love to watch greek videos on Youtube of Mazoo and the zoo and the Zouzounakia... my personal favorite is of Mazoo and the Zoo's Papagalos... check it out

  4. I just came across your blog....and I just LOVE it!
